Welcome to our FAQ page! We understand that understanding digital web services can be overwhelming, especially if you’re not familiar with the technical jargon and industry-specific terms. That’s why we’ve created this page to help answer some of the most commonly asked questions about our services. Whether you’re wondering about pricing, timelines, or specific features, we’ve got you covered. Our goal is to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision about your web services needs. Administrative Questions

To begin, please complete the CIT Web Services form and indicate the type of web service you are interested in along with the additional web form fields. Once completed, a member of the CIT team will reach out to you to schedule an initial consultation meeting to review the services you are interested in and outline any additional information needed from you to complete the requested service.

The CIT team will be responsible for conducting the initial consultation meeting to confirm the level of service you need, securing the domain name and hosting account on “cmechurches.org” and building the website.

Your church (the pastor or designated individual) will be responsible for choosing the desired web service, selecting a domain name based on the CIT requirements, providing information and content for your website (ex: church history, pastors bio, church ministries).

    • Landing Page Website: $50
    • 5 Page Website: $200
    • Website Rebuild: $200
    • Additional Pages: $40
    • Additional Training for designated individuals Maintaining the Website: $30
    • We offer additional services and resources that can be found on the CIT Web Services Page

If you would like to proceed with the web service, you will submit your payment at the end of our scheduled initial consultation meeting. Payments will be submitted electronically during the consultation meeting. If you need to submit a physical check, a member of the CIT Team will provide additional instructions during the meeting.

If you don't have a designated member of your church to update your website, The CIT Team offers website maintenance service where we will make requested updates to your website for a monthly fee of $30. This can be a recurring service or you purchase on an as needed basis.

The web development and designs provided by the CIT are proprietary and can not be purchased separately from the domain and hosting account.

Additional training can be purchased as needed, if you need additional training to review specific website features, or if you have changed the delegation of the website maintenance.

  • For the Landing page websites, social media integration is not included.
  • For the 5 page website and website rebuilds, social media integration is included.

While our production schedule may vary pending our workload, our standard turnaround time is 10 days from the purchase of the requested web service until the initial draft of the website is presented for you to review.

Your pastor or designated church member will be responsible for creating the wording and content for your website. The CIT Team will only assist with the design, layout and functionality of the site.

Our website redesign services are only offered on the cmechurches.org domain. That means if you want the CIT team to redesign your current website, it will have to be on the CIT hosting account and you will be assigned a new domain at "yourchurch.cmechurches.org"

If you want to redirect your old domain to the new site on the cmechurches.org, you will have to provide your admin credentials to the CIT team to create a website redirect so that your old domain name will send site visitors to your new cmechurches.org website.

Ex: if someone puts in mtzioncme.org the visitor will automatically be redirected to mtzioncme.cmechurches.org

Technical Questions

Yearly maintenance is required to keep an active domain name and hosting account. The renewal fee will cover your expenses for the entire year.

Yes, if you have experience in web design using WordPress or other compatible web development platforms, you can update your site. Training will be offered to experienced website editors to provide familiarity with how to navigate the template selected for your website and the WordPress platform, you will be added as an admin user and can make any changes to your site as you see fit.

Yes, after you’ve gone through training and have shown familiarity with how to navigate the WordPress platform, you will be added as an site editor and can make necessary changes to your site.

Your website will be automatically backed up on the cmechurches.org servers on a monthly basis. If your website goes down for any reason we will be able to restore your site to the previous backup date.

  • For the Landing page websites, social media integration is not included.
  • For the 5 page website and website rebuilds, social media integration is included.
  • Yes, there are several requirements needed to set up a virtual live stream on your site and if requested, the CIT team will be able to set up that feature for you. 
  • To incorporate this feature on your website, it will cost $50 in addition to the standard service fee.

No,  the template is standard based on the service you purchased and will be built and formatted according to our service agreement. If you would like an additional page added you can purchase an additional page service or you can designate a member of your church to do so after training.
